General Advice and Money Advice appointments as appropriate.

There is no public parking.

The nearest parking is in Girling Street car park. For those with mobility issues, we do have limited parking.  Please either phone us on the above number, or email us on advice@sudburycab.org.uk to book a disabled parking space.

Volunteer Clerk to the Trustees

  1. Produce draft agenda for Trustee Board meetings and liaise with Chair

  2. Circulate all material required for Board meetings between one and two weeks prior to each meeting.

  3. Take minutes at the Trustee Board meetings including the Annual General Meeting, type up and send to both Chief Officer (CO) and Chairman (note: these will be held for approval at the next year’s AGM)

  4. Initiate agenda for Finance and General Purposes (FGP) meetings and circulate this and all other connected material to all trustees and CO, between one and two weeks prior to each meeting.

  5. Take minutes at FGP meetings, type up and send to Chairman for review.

  6. Organise beverages for the Trustee Board and FGP meetings

  7. Manage lead up to the AGM

a. Book appropriate venue for the Annual General Meeting, after liaison with Chair

b. Arrange for public notice in local newspapers

c. Draft invitation letters to bureau members and distribute

d. Organise buffet lunch for the Annual General Meeting

  1. Keep Member and Member Organisation registers up to date

  2. Correctly identify retiring Trustees and advise Chair at the beginning of August each year

  3. Keep Interests of Trustee Board members details up to date (Declaration of Interests Form)

  4. Liaise with Treasurer concerning annual return to Companies House and updating board details as and when required with Companies House

  5. Liaise with Treasurer concerning annual return to the Charity Commission and also updating board membership as and when required. (Generally these two tasks are performed by the Treasurer.)

  6. Liaise with funders regarding their accredited observers
